Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy serves to explain the information processing rules and user data protection practices of Knott, a lightweight local AI virtual scarf try-on application. This application focuses on providing convenient scarf virtual try-on functions for all users, and adheres to strict privacy protection principles throughout all functional service processes. All user operations and content processing activities are designed to fully protect user personal privacy and data security.

All information is processed locally, all information is only stored on the user's local device, and all information will be permanently deleted when the user actively deletes relevant content in the application. Therefore, the application does not collect any facial data of users in any form.

Knott is a no-login application that does not require users to register accounts or submit any personal identity information to use all core functions. The entire service process of the application is based on local device operation and local AI processing, and no user private data will be transmitted to any external environment. The application always prioritizes user privacy security, and the core service logic never involves the collection, transmission or storage of user facial information and other private content.

2. Core Data Processing Principles

2.1 Local Processing Mechanism

All functional operations of Knott including portrait uploading, scarf style matching, virtual try-on image generation and silent motion clip production are completed through local AI processing on the user's device. No external processing equipment is involved in the whole process. The application does not collect any facial data generated during user portrait uploading and try-on operation, all portrait and facial related content only exist on the user's local device and are completely controlled by the user.

Any try-on images and motion videos generated by users are all stored in the local storage space of the user's device only. The application will not retain, copy or migrate these contents to any external channels. Users have full independent control over all local data generated by the application.

2.2 User Data Control Rights

Users enjoy full independent control over all data and content generated during the use of Knott. Users can preview, save to local photo album, share or delete any try-on works in the local work library of the application at any time. Once users actively delete any try-on content or facial related portrait content in the application, the corresponding data will be completely and permanently erased from the user's local device, and the application does not collect or retain any residual facial data.

The application will not automatically save or back up any user operation content and facial related information. All data retention behaviors are completely initiated and confirmed by users themselves, and no passive data retention behavior exists in the application.

3. Type of Information Processed Locally

3.1 User Uploaded Portrait Content

Users can upload positive portrait images through device camera or local photo album to complete scarf virtual try-on operations. All portrait image parsing and facial posture identification required for try-on fitting are completed by local AI calculation on the user's device. The application does not collect any facial feature information, facial contour data and facial posture data contained in user uploaded portraits, and all facial related information only participates in local real-time calculation and will not be retained after the calculation is completed.

3.2 Scarf Material Content

Users can choose built-in scarf styles of the application or upload independent scarf material images for try-on matching. All scarf material processing and image fusion operations are completed locally on the user's device. The application only calls local device computing resources to complete image matching and fitting rendering, and will not collect any user uploaded scarf materials and will not associate any material content with user facial information.

3.3 Generated Work Content

The two types of works generated by users through the application including pure try-on static images and silent try-on motion clips are all stored in the local work folder of the user's device. All work content is independently managed by users. The application does not collect any generated try-on works, and does not obtain any facial information contained in the generated try-on images and videos.

3.4 Application Usage Data

The local running of the application will generate temporary operation cache data on the user's device to ensure the smooth progress of functional operations. These temporary cache data only serve local operation logic and will not carry any user facial information. The application does not collect any temporary cache data related to user operations, especially any data involving user facial features and facial portraits.

4. Virtual Currency And Subscription Service Rules

4.1 Local Virtual Currency Consumption

Knott adopts a coin-based functional activation mechanism. Users need to consume corresponding coins to generate try-on static images and silent motion clips. All coin consumption records and coin balance data are only stored locally on the user's device. The virtual currency consumption process does not involve the collection of any user facial information, and all consumption data is only used for local function authority verification.

4.2 Subscription Service Processing

The application provides consumable coin package purchase services and auto-renewing subscription services. The subscription authority and subscription coin quota are recorded and verified locally on the user's device. The subscription coins issued during the subscription period are only used for the user's local functional experience, and the unexpired subscription coins will become invalid after the subscription expires. All subscription service operation processes do not involve the collection, acquisition or storage of user facial information, and subscription data is only retained locally for user service authority identification.

5. Local Data Management And Deletion

All data generated during the use of Knott including uploaded portraits, scarf materials, generated try-on works, virtual currency records and operation caches are all stored in the independent local storage space of the application on the user's device. Users have absolute management authority over all local data.

Users can delete single or multiple try-on works, clear local operation caches and cancel local service records independently in the application. All deleted local data including all portrait and facial related data will be completely removed from the user's device without any reservation, and the application does not collect or back up any deleted facial information and user private data.

When users uninstall the application, all local data generated by Knott on the device will be completely cleared synchronously. No residual user data or facial related information will be retained on the user's device.

6. Application Function And Privacy Protection

The core functions of Knott including local AI image fusion, local image to video conversion, local work preview and local content sharing all run based on local device resources. The local AI calculation model only completes image fitting and dynamic rendering on the user's device. In all functional links, the application does not collect, transmit or obtain any user facial data, facial feature information and portrait content.

The local content sharing function only supports users to share local works independently. The sharing behavior is completely operated and confirmed by users. The application will not actively obtain or collect any content shared by users, nor will it involve the collection of any facial information in the shared works.

7. User Rights And Interests Protection

Based on the full local processing mechanism of Knott, users can use all try-on functions without worrying about privacy leakage risks. Since the application does not collect any user facial information and all private data is only stored locally and controlled by users, users can fully guarantee the privacy security of their facial portraits and personal images during the use of the application.

The setting page of the application provides complete function instructions and rule descriptions, so that users can clearly understand the local processing logic and privacy protection rules of all functions, and users can independently choose and adjust the use mode of application functions.
